Hi, is there anyway that windows XP can dial the phone? If you have DSL does
that complicate things?

Only if your analogue modem is connected to the phone socket AFAIK.......

simple answers, yes & no
One Longer answer:
Open Address Book (OE), right click entry (person) to call, select
action, select Dial.
All this assumes you have a modem or other such device for dialling
landlines, or you subscribe to some internet service which allows
internet calling. You will also need to connect your modem to the
telephone line, and configure Phone Dialler to use the modem.
