Dialing speed

I had to change my hard disc and reinstall XP. All is now working OK
except the autodial rate. Once connected the link works OK but the
numbers are dialled at about one a second.

How do I speed it up?

have u tried a modem booster--most are free ware--while it mainly only tweeks
ur modem to work its best it may just get ur modem set right again dont
know if itll work just a thought
