dial up window keeps poping up

The dial up window keeps poping up even though I am connecting to the
internet via a broadband connection. It happens when I connect or when I go
to a new URL. I close the dial up window and I get a new window to connect
to the LAN. When I click on the connect button the new URL comes up fine.

Assuming your computer is completely virus and malware-free, go to
Internet Options applet in Control Panel and click on Connections tab.
You'll see where you can choose "Never dial a connection". Apply and OK
