DIAL-UP POP-UP WINDOW CONSTANTLY POPPING UP

J

John

Greetings,

My MSIE 6.0 Dial-up pop-up window constantly appears and
promts me for a connexion, even when MSIE is closed or I
do something else on the computer. Drives me crazy.

How can I stop this unsollicited internal popping-up?

Thanks

You have some program, on your computer, that is requesting permission to go
out of the web.
That program could be a antivirus program, or any other program that wants
an update.
Or, it could be spyware, malware, scumware that want to send data back home.

You have to sort this out and either let it do its thing (AV programs, etc)
or kill the program that should not be trying to go out.

First try one of the free spyware checkers.
