Dial-up internet connection: automatic termination when idle

How can I set up WinXP to automatically disconnect my dial-
up internet connection after a certain amount of idle
time?? I am using a Dell Pavilion 4550 computer.

Try Control Panel|INTERNET OPTIONS|CONNECTION tab
SETTINGS button|ADVANCED button, and set it there.

Be sure there is no activity during this time, such as auto mail checking.
