Dial Up Connection Window keeps popping up

I have a problem with the Dial Up Connection Window
popping up every time my wireless connection hickups. I
have gone in to the Internet Options, selected the Never
Dial a Connection box and the clicked on Apply about 3000
times but if I go back in 2 minutes later it is set back
to Dial a Connection when needed. Can anyone tell me
what wonderful MS wizard thinks it is smarter than me and
keeps sneaking in and changing it back so I can cut it's
annoying little nuts off?

This is Windows XP Professional. All current maintanance.

hey had same problem try deselecting the connection you
use so that no default connect is set up and just click
the connection when you wish to connect
