DHCP server

I am running adv.server 2000 w/ active directory.

Can the subnet mask be adjusted in a scope after it is set
to active? I need to change it for one scope to move some
addresses around but it looks as if I may have to build a
new scope to get it changed. Is there anyway to do this?

Once the scope is created, it's just as simple to delete and recreate the
scope. Modifications of scopes are not really supported, or even easy for
that matter.

The high low range is easy to change and i was hoping the
subnet mask would be that simple too (Linux allows this
modification). The thing I didn't want to get into is
redoing my reservations. I don't have that many but it
would be simpler to just be able to modify the mask to get
addresses freed up for another block.
But I see it is not going to be possible.
I can get the reservations exported to a text file can
they be imported into the new scope after it is setup?
Thanks for your reply to my query.
