dhcp server stopped,dns server searchresultpartially woorking...he

windows XP pack usb rca modem(lan/high speed int....).cable connections were
unstable but repaird.
but my dhcp server stopped and dns searchresults server partilly,how to
repair....what to do....?

Hi,

Shutdown the computer, the router, and the modem or broadband interface.
Wait 2 minutes, then turn on the broadband. Wait until it is fully up and
the signal lights indicate transmit/receive is ok. Now do the same to the
router (if you have one). When it is complete then, and only then, turn the
computer back on.
