DHCP Problem

I

ian

My DHCP Server uses a scope of 100 addresses. It is
logging events stating that they are all in use. When I
look at the active leases, there are only 20 listed.

What happened to the other 80?

:
| Surely after a lease expires it is returned to the pool
| after the grace period?

Have those 80 leases expired?

| Well I've got 80 missing addresses and no one else can
| obtain a lease. Any ideas?

I can't see them at all. I can only assume that they have
expired and haven't been returned to the pool. I rebooted
the server a couple of days ago. I'm quite sure that 80
leases haven't expired in this short space of time. So
they seem to in a black hole somewhere.

I don't have a DHCP server here to look at. The only thing I can think of
right now is to try redefining the scope.
