DHCP :- Database Cleanup

P

P Lad

Hi,

I have a Windows 2000 Advanced server running DHCP. The
event log for the server shows no errors during the day.

During the night the DHCP database does an automatic
cleanup. The following error is shown in the Event Log :-
'THE JET DATABASE CALL
RETURNED THE FOLLOWING ERROR : -510. ADDITIONAL DEBUG
INFORMATION : JetBackuptoNULL

I have used JetPack to pack the DHCP Database.
I have rebuilt the DHCP database twice before. The DHCP
database was working fine for 3/4 days and the same error
appeared. I had to restart the DHCP service so resolve
the DHCP error.

Can the automatic cleanup settings be changed ?
Can you help with this please ?
Should I also pack the WINS database >

Many thanks, Pritesh
