Device Update Agent (DUG) vs Windows Update

Is it unwise to use the Windows Update feature in Internet Explorer on a XP
Embedded installed system?
Should DUG be used exclusively, or can they co-exist?

Phil,

WU is not supported on XPe. Please see this thread for more details:

WU and DUA are different technologies and they use different transport and
analisys mechanisms (if DUA uses any). If you forget about the support for
WU and that it does not really work for all the updates from the MS site, WU
and DUA can co-exist and technically work in the same runtime image.
