Device Manager

I am have some problems with hardware. Windows Xp detects the hardware,
installs it, but apparently doesn't have enough resources to use the
hardware, or does not have enough information to use the device.
I uninstalled the "problem" drivers and reinstalled them, but it still says
the same thing.
However, yesterday I bought a new hard drive because the old hard drive was
malfunctioning and got a new Samsung S-ATA Hard drive.

My motherboard is the "K7N2 Delta2 Plantinum"

In device manager, under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" there is a " ! " mark
beside :

"NVIDIA MCP2S Parallel ATA controller (v2.6)" [Code 12]

Also, under "Sound, video and game controllers" there is a " ! " mark beside :

"Realtek AC'97 Audio" [Code 35]

From his spyware and virus infected Windoze box, Kazmania had this to say:

Most motherboard manufacturers supply a CD containing drivers required by
components on its motherboard. You should have gotten this CD with your
motherboard and it will provide you with the drivers you need to fix these
problems.

If you've lost this CD or never received it, then check out the motherboard
manufacturer's website for a possible download of same.

I spent a week tracking down a Code 12 problem on a Nvidia Video Card.

It turned out that the CODE 12 was a False Positive.
The root of my problem was Power and / or Bad Capacitors on
the Motherboard.

You know it's one these problems when every once in a while you try
to start your Computer (cold) and the Power Supply automatically
shuts off. Then, you can't start it again until you physically
disconnect the Power Supply, plug it back in and try it again.
Sometimes it took 3 or 4 trys to get started. However, once the
computer is warm, it boots / reboots just fine.

Once I got the computer started, I let it run overnight, then I
rebooted and the Code 12 was gone and everything worked just fine
unless I turned the PC off and let it cool down. Then you have
to let run for a long while again, reboot and you are fine.

Possible Solution 1 - Try a Higher Wattage Power Supply.
Possible Solution 2 - You have Bad Capacitors on your Motherboard.
You can get all your MotherBoard Capacitors changed out for $50.00
including return shipping by sending it here.
MotherBoard Repair.

I have no affiliation with this site other than being a previous
customer.
My Solution 3 - Live with it for now by letting the PC run
overnight and then reboot. The Device is automatically recognized
and the code 12 is gone. I did absolutely nothing other than let
it run a long time and then reboot.

However, keep this in mind. This PC had not run in more than
1 year and it would not boot. It had a 250 Watt Power Supply
in it. I replaced it with a 350 Watt. PC then booted and ran
fine, however, I got the shutoff problem after leaving it set
overnight between boots. I then changed to a 450 Power Supply.
Solved the shutoff problem, but still had the code 12 problem.
Let it run 12 hours, then reboot, works fine. Get it working
then do not shut it off! You are OK with reboots as long as
you do not let it cool down. My permanent solution will be to
get the MotherBoard Caps replaced. This PC was a Medion 1453.
This is known as a high end eMachines Computer.

If the Capacitors are bad, you will start going through Power
Supplys every 4 - 6 months. The Bad Capacitors are Power
Supply killers.
