Windows Vista device manager says: g33/g32 express chip set "!"

My HP w1707 monitor will not run the screen saver anymore and my resolution is degraded. Any suggestion on a fix? Platform is windows 32 bit vista.

delete/update/re-install video drivers

already did this same issues occuring

same issues are occuring-says no dvi input on screen at startup. is this a hardware failure?
