device driver

My laptop isn't going in sleep mode. I get the following
message:"The device driver for the standard 101/102 key
or microsoft natural PS/2 keyboard driver is preventing
the machine from entering standby. Please close all
applications and try again. If the problem persists, you
may need to update the driver." Since it is virtually
impossible to get through to the manufacturer, has anyone
any suggestions? Would appreciate it.

Hi,

Right click the My computer icon, and select manage. Click device manager.
Click (+) sign next to keyboard, double click the keyboard. Check if it has
a power management tab. If it has one, uncheck the option "allow this device
to bring windows out of standby"

Check if the problem is solved.

Best of luck,
