System Standby failed

I am getting the error message-

System Standby failed
The device driver for the "Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2
Keyboard" device is preventing the machine from entering standby. Please
close all applications and try again. If the problem persists, you may need
to update the driver.

I am not aware of any action that may have caused the error.

Any ideas what causes this error message and how to correct the problem
please?

Thanks.

Microsoft keyboard software after v4.0 doesnt include PS/2 drivers, they only
have USB drivers, the PS/2 cable gets unplugged...The current version v6.1
I believe it is,actually holds the drivers/software in "Human Interface
Devices"
Found in device mgr.
