"device cannot start, Code 10".

Hi guys! My OS before is win 98SE and I try to upgrade it
to windows XP PRO. My problem is that, when I try to
detect my audio driver and install it. It prompts
me "device cannot start, Code 10". Anybody knows a
solution to this problem? Your contribution is much
appreciated. Thank you very much in advance =)
 
check you bios and see if the audio card (or device if it
is onboard) is enabled
