Where can I find the developer extensions for Office Professional Edition
2003?

They are not in Visual Studio 2008 Professional edition. Are they only in
Visual Studio 2005?

Thanks for any help.

Yes, AFAIK they were only in Visual Studio 2003 Tools for Office and Visual
Studio 2005 Tools for Office.

of course, most licenses from Microsoft are 'backwards compatible'
such that if you can somehow get a CD and a key- it would be legal to
run it (since it comes with VS 2005, you can use your VS 2008 license
to qualify you for a VS 2005 installation).

you might even be able to call MS and ask them for a CD on this.

I now installed Visual Studio Professional 2005 on my computer but I still
cannot find the developer extensions to use with Access 2003. Could you
suggest what I should do next.

Thanks,

It's not Visual Studio Professional you need: it's Visual Studio Tools for
Office.

The developer extensions for Office do not come with Visual Studio 2005, nor
any other edition. They come with Visual Studio Tools for Office, of the
appropriate version. Only the single, current version of Access is
supported by any VSTO, and there's no need for such support for Access 2007,
as the runtime and packaging wizard are free downloads.
