Deterministic Network Enhancer

It seems that having the deterministic network enhancer
installed along with the cisco VPN conflicts with my home
LAN. When I uninstall the Deterministic Network Enhancer
protocol, I have no problem accessing resources on my LAN,
but then I can't use my VPN. I'm running Windows XP
Professional. Anyone know what to do?

I am having the same problem with a Watchguard VPN.
This is new behavior as I have been using it for over a year now.
Is there a hotfix that may have affected it?
