Detecting USB

Is there a way to determine whether the USB installed in a system is 1.1 or
2.0?
 
Control panel> System> Hardware> Device Manager> USB
controllers> Look to see if you have a "Enhanced" Host
controller. If you have then you have USB 2.0
 
How old is the machine? What type of machine is it? Is it a clone or a
name brand? If a clone, what type of motherboard is it? If a name brand,
contact the manufacturer.
