Desperate for URGENT help - CD Problems

When I put a new disc into my DVD+-RW drive and look under properties it is
shown as being full and I can't write it or burn it. Any suggestions?
 
Did you install the software that came with your burner - all of the
software?

Which burner software do you use? I know that Easy Media Creator by Roxio is
incompatible with some brands of drives. It allows you to access the program
once without a problem, and then if you try for a second time, it gives the
error you posted. Nero never displayed that issue with me.
