I have XP Home. My problem is that often after
restarting my computer my file folders on the desktop
come up in a different arrangment. Unclicking
autoarrange did not fix the problem.

Also, is it possible to have more than one desktop?
I.E. I would like to be able to toggle between two or
more desktops with a differant set of files and folders
on it.

One more question. When I select an item and then right
click it I can copy/cut and then paste,etc. Is it
possible to have more than one item on the clipboard?
Would I be able to keep a running list of items in the
clipboard? The list of 'do' and 'undo' in Word gave me
this idea.

Just rt click on Desktop>select Properties>Desktop>Customize
Desktop>Web>Lock Desktop Items.
