I can`t get my desktop to display a custom picture from "my pictures" even
though it shows on the small icon but when I click apply it goes blank and
won`t retain the picture I`ve selected. any help out there?

If the picture is in BMP (JPG recommended ) format put it in
C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper directory using Windows Explorer.
Size should be between 50 and 500kb
