Desktop will not update

Display of opened windows on my desktop will not update. Example: Change a
folder name in a window and "enter." Name will not update. Close window then
open window and display of folder name is now updated. Just started. Happens
in all windows. (Tried searching for help on updating display of windows and
obviously I get items not relevant to my problem.)

Press F5 to refresh the current window.

or

Try this to _Enable_ folder refresh.
