Desktop Theme

I've been trying to change my desktop theme. I go to properties and I try to
click on the background list and I can click on anything on the list. The
only thing I can change is the color. Can you help me. I also get a message
that Active Desktop Recovery everytime I start my computer. I am be Main
user. The other users are not having problems this problem their active
desktop is being displayed properly. Please help. Thank you and God Bless.

Registry fix-Automated :

If you have XP -Pro :
1.Start > Run > gpedit.msc
2.Under User configuration > Click [Administrative Templates\Control
Panel\Display\]
3. There will be value named "Prevent changing wallpaper" > Set it to "Not
Configured"

-----Method--3-:---------------------------
Manually (XP -Any):
1.Open Regedit
2. Click
<HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ActiveDesktop>
3. There will be a value named "NoChangingWallpaper" > Set it to 0
4. Click
<HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ActiveDesktop>
5. Repeat Step 3
