Desktop background

I can not change my desktop background anymore. I used to have a downloaded
picture but for some reason the only thing that I can do is change the solid
color now. When I go into appearance and themes I can only actively click on
color not background.

Start Regedit.exe and navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
-and-
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

Delete the values "Wallpaper" and "WallPaperStyle" in the right-pane.

Close Regedit.exe
