Desktop setup

When right click on an empty space on my desktop, and
click on "Properties" in order to change my desktop and
screen saver setups, I only see a "Theme" tab, no tabs
for "Desktop", "Screen Saver" or others. Same thing if I
go through Start-Control Panel-Display routine. Can
anyone help?

This article suggests that you have done an upgrade and have not yet gotten the latest drivers for XP from your video card manufacturer. http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...pport/kb/articles/q283/7/51.asp&NoWebContent=
If this is the case then chanced are good that you haven't gotten any updated drivers for XP from your hardware\software manufacturers sites. Everest Home Edition will assist you in identifying what makes up your system and in many cases gives links to the manufacturers drivers or sites. Welcome to the eXPeriance. {:~)
