Desktop Search fails?

When I try and complete a Desktop Search from Outlook 2007 Beta I get a
dialog box stating;

Microsoft Office has identified a potential security concern. This location
may be unsafe. File Path: searchquery=harrods
Hyperlinks can be dangerous..............
Do you wish to proceed?

Clicking on Yes brings up IE with a 'Page Cannot be displayed' error.

Any ideas on how to get this working? Outlook searching is working well
after initial indexing.

Which version of Desktop Search?
Outlook 2007 incorporates Desktop Search 3 which needs to be installed
separately. It has no external UI at present but is used from within
Outlook.

I am trying to access from the drop down menu from within Outlook 2007.
Outlook searching is fine but when I click on the Desktop Search it appears
to pick up the last outlook search and come up with the error I disclosed
arlier. When I click on OK it opens in IE. I had the old MSN Desktop Search
(v2?) installed when I installed Outlook 2007 which I assume is now redundant
or will be when I get this new version working!

that's the problem - V2. You need V3 installed. Until they get a UI for it
you will be without the type of Desktop search you are used to.

I have uninstalled v2 as it appears redundant. The desktop search menu item
has now gone from teh Outlook Menu! Does v3 allow desktop search and how do I
reinstall v3?

there's no UI to allow searching of anything other than in Outlook from
within Outlook. Outlook uses the engine for WDS 3. A UI for WDS 3 that
allows Desktop search in the way you are familiar with will come later.

Quick question, if the v3 replaces v2 and v3 does not have a UI, why then my
Desktop Search 2.5 disapierd when i installed v3? Any way to be able to use
and search desktop search v2.5.

Do you know if there is a way to manipulate the v3 engine? I've had it
installed for over 24 hours and still am not able to seach within outlook
2007 beta 2. I keep getting a "outlook cannot perform your search".

It can take a considerable time for Outlook to create the index. How long
depends on how you use the Computer.
V3 will have a UI.
