Hi..
I want to develp a window service in c# .the purpose of the service is
to take a screen shot of a desktop after several specified time span.
My problem is that how i take screen shot of desktop.

There is a function named Graphics.CopyFromScreen() to do that:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.drawing.graphics.copyfromscreen.aspx

Use a Bitmap object and use Graphics.FromImage() to get a Graphics
object and "paint" the screenshot into the bitmap.
