Desktop properties thing

Hey everyone,

I have a strange problem, and I am unsure of the fix.
I woke up this morning, and now on my desktop to the left, I have the folder
properties screen. Like when you open up a folder, "Folder Tasks, Other
places, and details". All my icons got moved the right a notch to make room
for this. I don't want this option on my desktop, how do I remove it?? I
know it's a simple setting somewhere, but I'll be darned if I know where off
hand.

TIA,

Doug

It's called the "Common Tasks Bar."

To get rid of it, go to Doug Knox's site, http://www.dougknox.com. On the
left, click Win XP Fixes, then Remove Common Tasks from Desktop.
