I have tried restoring several times, but it has changed nothing on my
desktop. The
items are still there. The actual wording that I clicked on was..."Set
as desktop item"....thank you for suggestion, but sorry to say it did
not work.
:
if your restore is functional, why not simply restore to the day or
maybe that morning before you made the changes?

I was trying to place an Icon on my desktop and mistakenly clicked on
the wrong item, that said something like "Do you want to show this on
your desktop"....Now I have at least three things that are not Icons
that I can't remove.
Help me please remove these items. Two of them are just blank retangle
shapes and one is a worded retangle.
