Desktop is gone

Can somebody please help! I installed a belking 2 port
2.0 USB PCI card and after the installation of the
drivers, my desktop is gone, I can access my programs via
the task manager but the desktop icons and start menu bar
aren't there. What can I do to get them back?!?

In task manager, use the new task option to start explorer.exe and see if
they come back.

I had the same problem and no one helped me in this

Hope that fixes it. I didnt have the luxury of knowing
about that site so I had to figure it out myself.
