Desktop Images

Is there any way to change the default from stretch to center? I am not
speaking of the Display Properties, Desktop, Position (stretch, center, tile)
function. I want the default to always be center.

I use VirtuaWin and a module called vbackdrop. I can have different images
for each desktop. Unfortunately, each desktop's image gets stretched by this
MS default in the registry (I presume that's where it's at).

Anyway, I'd appreciate some help.
