Is there any way to change the default from stretch to center? I use
VirtuaWin and a module called vbackdrop. Unfortunately, each desktop's image
gets stretched by this MS default in the registry (I presume).

Right click a blank area of the Desktop and select Properties from the
context menu. When the Display Properties pops up click the Desktop
tab. Look to the right hand side about halfway down the frame and you
will see a drop down menu. Values are Center, Stretch or Tile.

I thank you for your reply, but I know that procedure. I'm speaking of
making XP "forcing" center as a default all the time.
