Desktop Icons?

How do I get the individual desktop icons for the links I
send to my desktop? Some links have their own icons,
others only the IE6 generic placeholder. I'm running
Windows XP Pro.
 
If the site does not provide an Icon for there identity not much you can do.
For those that are and you want to keep them permanently you will need this
tool.

You need to get a program called FavOrg 1.4 here:

Custom icons make the Favorites list easier to scan. FavOrg, scans the Web
sites in your Favorites list for favicons and makes your favicons
persistent.
