Desktop Icons

What are the correct Display settings for my Desktop? I use a photo for my
wallpaper. Normally the background for the desktop titles are seethrough.
Twice now something goes nuts and there are colored boxes behind my desktop
titles, but my wallpaper is still intact. The first time I fiddled with the
display settings on the Control Panel and got it to work. This time I tried
all that again and it didn't get fixed. I'm using WXP Home w/SP2.

Click on the Start button
Select Control Panel
Then select Performance and Maintenance/Adjust Visual Effects/"Use drop shadows for
icon labels on the Desktop".
Classic – Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance/Settings

f this still doesn't do the trick, right-click the desktop, point to Arrange Icons By
and make sure that Lock Web Items on Desktop is un-checked;
