desktop icons

I can't move my desktop icons. I can right click on the
desktop and choose "arrange icons". THAT WORKS.
I turning on and off "snap to grid"
That doesn't do anything.
I used to be able to drag them. Now I can't.
Any odeas would be appreciated. Thank you

try this path..................
control panel
display
desktop tab
customize desktop button
web tab
clear the "lock" option
