Desktop Icons

Hi Everyone

I received a telephone call today from a friend of mine with an XP problem...

Someone had tried partition magic on their harddrive and it didn't run quite
so smooth! After the event he has noticed that desktop icons have a small
white cross on a red background on the bottom right of the original icon.
I've never seen anything like this before and Googling hasn't brought
anything up either. Any files that are copied to the desktop get this cross
added although the files can be opened and read normally. I have a screenshot
that was emailed to me if anyone needs to take a look.

He just want's the desktop back to normal.. I have no idea what to suggest
so wondered if anyone had seen anything similar at anytime at all.

Thanks
Bryan

Why not just restore the system backup that Partition Magic tells you to
make before using it?

Don't bother to reply, I think we all know why.

Is your site still filled with that nasty pornographic material you so
proudly claim to have created?

Why would anyone want to download something from your filthy site?
