desktop icons and user accounts

Does anyone know how to keep desktop icons distinct for
each user account? Right now many icons appear in both,
when I would like them to appear in only one account.

You can use the DESKTOP subfolders in C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS for
this. Under ALL USERS you can find a DESKTOP folder to place icons in
that should appear on all desktops. Use the DESKTOP folders for the
user accounts for invidual icons.
