desktop icon grid

I'd like to change the size of the grid XP uses to align icons on the desktop
.... is this possible and if so, how.

Hi Jim,

Right-click the desktop, select Properties, go to the Appearance tab, and
click Advanced. You can set the options there. Look for item "icon spacing".

Thanks for the replies. I'd experimented with the Icon Spacing settings you
referred to but wasn't getting the results I expected to so I wondered if I
was working with the wrong controls. Guess I'll give it another try. Thanks
again.
