Desktop has moved since last update

After installing the latest security updates for windows, my desktop is now
off center and cannot be fixed by going into the display properties.

Click Start >> Run and type in:
regedit click [OK] the locate this Key:
[-]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
= in the right Pane/Window (Try to Turn Turn on Classic Shell set to 0 )
[ab]ClassicShell REG_DWORD 0

In addition, you may need to adjust the controls *on the monitor*.
