The OP has not provided enough information for you to tell him to clean
install Windows. To "jamesB", please see these links to help make a
good newsgroup post:

Then come back with details about your system, the problems you were
having that caused you to reinstall, whether you did a Repair Install,
etc. We will also need to know which service pack level your XP Home
is, what antivirus you have installed (name, version, and whether
definitions are current), and what other troubleshooting you've already
done.

Kelly who? Also, if English is your native tongue, using proper
pronunciation may help within your projectile of information given.
It's this person who has been posting as "Kelly",
(e-mail address removed). S/he has been asked numerous times by
many people to kindly change his/her posting name in order to not cause
any possibility that posters would think s/he was you. Since s/he
refuses to respond to these polite requests and continues to go on
posting - generally bad advice, btw - we have to assume s/he is
malicious and a troll. Oh well, s/he isn't the first troll and
certainly won't be the last. The only reason I don't totally ignore
him/her is because his/her advice is usually "clean install Windows"
and we don't want posters blindly doing that.

Best regards,

Not only does she not do what many of us have asked, she doesn't
even have the common courtesy to respond, explaining why she
refuses to do so. She just ignores us. She's clearly a troll of
the worst kind.
