Windows XP Desktop deleted windows XP now what?

My desktop make LG which is only 14 months old bought from new deleted Windows xp altogether,it says windows\system32\config\systems couldn't start because of the following error and to press r to correct this,of course pressing r did nothing!,

so i am asking is it worth saving this desktop or to throw it,i have the code and bought a generic disc but when i try to use that it seems to go okay until it freezes saying BAD-POOL-CALLER and i get nowhere,so anyone know where i have gone wrong? is it worth saving? i know Windows wont support xp in April 2014 but its a risk i will take if i can get it to work that is,
