desk top picture

I have added a picture to my desk top and want to the
lettering under each desk top icon to blend in with the
picture, can anyone help?

No problem: Right-click on My Computer and select Properties. Choose the
Advanced tab and, under Performance, click the Settings button. Place a
checkmark in 'Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop.' Now sit back
and enjoy.
