Deployment with EWF issue

Hello All...
I am using a XPe SP2 image for my Application which is made in .Net c#.Its a
graphical application.
Now the ISSUE is : Its time for our deployment and we want to deploy a write
protected image. But the thing is sometimes we will need to change some
settings in our application,which changes the videos and tickers which are
invoked by the application.
Now in case we deploy a write protected image than these settings will not
be saved,so is there any means by which so that we can change the application
setting and at the same time it can be saved.
I mean can we save our application on another storage media or partition
which is not write protected along with the partition(XPe).
Is it possible,. If yes than how.
Please help..

Would performing an EWF commit or EWF commit file work for your system?

Thanks Sean...
But is there any other way for the same,because i dont want these commands
to be run by my clients.
My purpose is that the client should be able to change only the setting of
there application, besides this they should not be able to do mess with the
XPe Image.
So if there is any other alternative which i can use than plz tell.

If you wrote the application, you can build in the commands using the EWF
APIs.
