DEP compatible processor....What would that be???

What would be a compatible processor for running DEP? Is DEP good and I have
an AMDK processor now.........can I even upgrade????? Want to protect
computer from viruses and such......I have a wireless network, and 2 kids who
go to sites that are horrid.....can Viruses travel from their machines to my
main machine?????? Any suggestions would be great. i have norton and WIN XP
home edition....

No I did not receive an error...I just happened upon it when I resoted my
computer from an unkown crash I never got a warning on.........and thought it
might be helpful......
