Data Execution Prevention closes Windows Explorer!

Yesterday I began having problems with Windows Explorer, closed by DEP.

Everything on the machine is updated with all MS updates. I have run
antivirus and syware sweeps using AVG Free edition, Spybot Search and
Destroy, as well as online services from Symantec and Kaspersky. Checked for
rootkits using Blacklight, AVG Rootkit detector.... evreything appears to be
clean, all programs report no problems or suspicious files.

Having said that I'm still hesitant to turn off DEP for Windows Explorer,
and have not done so.

My machine has an nForce Intel board (680i) with the latest nVidia drivers.

What should I do?

Thanks in advance

Paul
