delting me as a user

I am thinking about disconnecting my computer and
planning to give it to a reative my question is Where and
what files can I delete like user account of mine.
I donot want anyone to find out information on my
setting! Lorraine.

Hi,

Delete the user from control panel that relates to ur
name.
open my computer and navigate to the folder c:\documents
and settings and select ur name and delete that folder.
also u would want to clear the history cache of ie and
remove all backup files that are in other locations apart
from Documents and settings.

Start menu > Control panel > Users

You can delete your login here, and it should delete your
favorites, my documents, etc. that's tied to that login.
Of course, if you've installed any programs under that
login - they won't be touched... Your best bet is to do a
format & install Windows. The formatting will wipe
everything out clean. If you do a winXP reinstall only
without formatting, it won't delete your files.
