DellMKB.exe

I have dell desktop with windows xp. when i start the
start-up is very slow so i have changed the settings in
the system configuration file and ticked only those
programs that are really neccessary. however i am not sure
if i remove the tick from the DellMKB.exe as I think it
will not allow me to use the keyboard. when the computer
starts this dellmkb.exe takes about three minutes to load.
is there a way to improve the computer start up?
