dell laptop (Latitude) and XP install - boot cd

I can't get this dell C610 Latitude to boot off the XP Pro cd to install it.

I've changed it to boot off of the cd drive.

It just says "no bootable devices".

Any suggestions?

Maybe the BIOS of the machine has not be set to make the CD a device
that can be booted from. Check by pressing the relevant key (will be
shown on the screen) during startup.
