I have a Dell C610 Lattitude laptop with 512MB RAM and a
40GB HD, running Windows XP with all service pack
(S)/critical updates installed. Once or twice a week I
have a system reboot/crash and get this message in the
System Log: Error code 10000050, parameter1 e29f7dd0,
parameter2 00000000, parameter3 bfa48fb4, parameter4
00000001. The 'Send Error Report' returns that there is a
newer ATI video driver which might fix my issue, but when
I follow the provided link and download the ATI driver
package, it runs and tells me that the required hardware
was not found and does not update my video driver. I have
the latest and greatest video driver for XP and this C610
straight from Dell's download site (and have re-installed
it numerous times as well), but I continue to get this
machine crash. Can anybody out there help? -Ski
